United States Anny, is a mem- ber of Task Force (TF) 2-153, currently stationed at South Camp
in the Sinai, Egypt. TF 2-153, is the first pure National Guard unit to ever take over the Multinational
Forces and Observers (MFO) mission in the Sinai desert.

Ellis, age 30, graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in Marketing. He was working
as a sales representative for KO manufacturing, when he was called to be part of TF 2-153. SPC Ellis
lives in North Little Rock with his wife Wendy of six years.

He serves in the tactical operations center as radiotelephone operator while in the MFO, which is an
invaluable asset to TF 2- l53rd's mission success. Dealing with diverse groups of people as a sales
representative has provided him with the communication skills needed to carry out the MFO mission.

"I was surprised when I found out I was deploying over seas, Ibut we have done a great job here," Ellis
commented. "1 feel that the diversity of the people here helps us perfornl our duties above the standard."

Ellis has served in the Arkansas National Guard for six years. This is his first deployment with the Arkansas
Anny National Guard.
