Ray w. Jones
Ray w. Jones, 67, of Searcy, died Tuesday, October 2, 200 1 in
Houston, Texas.
Jones was born February 24, 1934, in Huntsville, Alabama, to
Preston Milbum and Martha Ella Rigsby Jones.
He was a member of the Fellowship Bible Church in Searcy and was a retired real estate
broker/co-owner of
A Star Real Estate Company with his twin brother, Clay Jones.
Jones is survived by his wife, Charlotte Snelson Jones of Searcy;
three daughters, Kimberly Safley of Judsonia,
and Jana DeGroat and Jennifer Jones, both of Searcy; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six \brothers, and two
sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Powell
Funeral Home in Searcy with the Reverend
Martin Jones and the Reverend Shane Freeman officiating. Interment will be at White County
Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 until 9 at the funeral home. The family will greet
friends at the funeral home
between 6 . and 8.

Services were held for Ray W. Jones of Searcy at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2001,
at Powell Funeral Home
in Searcy.
Revs. Martin Jones and Shane Freeman officiated the service, and Denia Rusinowski sang
"Home" followed by
"Special Delivery" by Connie Atwood.
Jeff Jones, Houston Jones, Larry Jones, Clinton Jones, Kenny Jones, Deal Johnson and
Larry Crain, Jr. served
as pallbearers. The Litle Rock Air Force Base Honor Guard provided full military honors.
Interment was in White County Memorial Gardens.
