James Harold Lankford, age 65, of
Searcy, Ark. departed this life June 3, 2006. He was born in Rector, Ark. on
Nov. 13, 1940 to James Howard and Ivalene Vangilder Lankford. He was retired
from the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents; one
sister, Glenda Faye Sullivan and one niece Kristi Sullivan Small. He is
survived by his wife Sonja of Searcy, Ark.; one son, Michael Lankford and
his wife Susan of Moore, Okla.; two sisters Geraldine (Deanie) Wagster and
her husband Jim of Searcy, Ark. and Janice Pruett and her husband Joey of
Rector, Ark.; one step-sister Sharon Turnbo of Rector, Ark.; two
grandchildren, Jannah Coe and Mitchell Lankford of Moore, Okla. along with a
host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be
Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home
