IN THE MUNICIPAL COURT OF SEARCY, ARKANSAS

IN RE: DRESS CODE, CAMERAS, WEAPONS IN COURTROOM

ORDER

All persons, including defendants, spectators, witnesses, and media are hereby notified
that the following restrictions apply in Searcy District Court during sessions of Court:

      (a) Only proper dress will be accepted. If you are asked to leave and change, you may
            be charged with Failure to Appear.

      (b) No hats are to be worn in the courtroom.

      (c) No cameras or photographic devices are authorized except with the express prior
            approval of the Court and written approval of any defendants, attorneys, or witnesses
            sought to be photographed.

      (d) No tape recorders or other recording devices, except with express prior approval of the Court.

      (e) No firearms of any type, knife, club or other instrument capable for use as a weapon are allowed.
            Law enforcement officers, or individuals acting at the direction of law enforcement officers or the
            Court are exempt from this restriction.

      (f) Court begins prompt at 1:30 p.m.

      (g) If you address the Court, it shall be in a respectful manner.

All persons are further notified they are subject to search upon request of the Court, court personnel or
any law enforcement officer to assure compliance with this Order. All  contraband found in possession in
violation of the Order may be confiscated in the discretion of the Court. Individuals vioilating the provisions
of this Order are subject to sanctions for contempt of court including fines and incarcerations.
