                Filing fee for Small Claims $32.00
                                              Civil     $35.00

                 Limitations for filing is $5000.00

                 Your check or money order should be made to Searcy District Court for the
                 correct amount of filing fee only.

                 There are 4 ways to service a complaint :

                          1. You may send the complaint by certified restricted mail to the defendant.
                Only that person can sign for it to be proper service. The cost is $7.14.

                          2. You can have your papers served by a private processor, we have several
                that serve this court. Jeff Langley, Shirley Perry, and Larry & Jr. Gentry.
                There fee is $30.00 within the city limits of Searcy and $35.00 elsewhere in the county.

                          3. You may have your papers served by the White County Sheriff's office.
                There fee is $50.00 and they will serve to a home address or a work place in the White
                County area.

                          4. If your defendant lives out of the county I can give you the address for that
                  County's Sheriff's Office for you to send complaint and let them serve.
                  The fee for the state of Arkansas is $50.00.
                  Call or come to my office if you have questions. We are located above the fire
                  department on 311 North Gum St. in Searcy, Ark. Please come up the stairs and
                  there will be a sign directing you to my office.
